The Police Association of NSW welcomes the commitment from NSW Labor to deliver an additional 50
extra police officers.

Western Sydney is one of the highest population growth areas in NSW, with one of the lowest police
to population ratios.

These additional resources will allow police officers to better service this growing community and
continue to ensure its safety.

We look forward to working with whoever forms the next NSW Government to ensure that police are
placed in the right place at the right time
