Branch Treasurer (1)
Nominations will open at 1:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 18 May 2026, at the branch biennial conference taking place at the Novotel Northbeach, 2-14 Cliff Rd North Wollongong. Completed nomination forms are to be handed to the Returning Officer at the conference. The Returning Officer will advise the closing time of nominations at the conference. The nominations will be called in descending order commencing with the Branch President.

Prospective candidates and nominators should verify their financial status and any other qualifications required by the Organisation's rules prior to lodging nominations.
How to lodge nominations, nominations must be lodged via the following method(s):
In-Person: Before the nominations close at the meeting on 18 May 2026.
Voting Period
The attendance ballot, if required, will open and close at the biennial conference following the nomination close with the time to be advised by the Returning Officer.
Proxy Voting
A delegate, who is absent from the Conference, may appoint in writing another delegate as a proxy for the purpose of elections conducted under this rule. The proxy form is required to be submitted to the Returning officer before nominations close at the conference on 18 May 2026.

Scrutineers
A candidate may appoint a scrutineer. A form is available from the Returning Officer for the purposes of appointing Scrutineers.

Post-election report
A copy of the AEC's post-election report can be obtained from the organisation or from the returning officer after the completion of the election.
